INSPIRATION
Dawn's Early Light is Chapter 1 in my over-arching theme of "Heritage" for 2022. A collection of abstract landscapes, focusing on the places of important historical events through the lens of what these places may have looked like in the morning.
Inspired by photographs of famous revolutionary battlefields. Each was created with a variety of materials, like cold wax and vintage papers from wartimes, to create abstracted landscapes. Featuring soft, light colors with hints of pink and gold that can be seen at sunrise.
